An AI-powered sports betting engine built on transparent methodology, locked-in pricing, and a refusal to publish picks without measurable price edge.

Founder, Zach's Picks
Mark is the creator of Zach's Picks (also referred to as ZachAI Picks), an automated sports betting system built on a disciplined, data-first approach to finding real market edges. He developed the platform to eliminate emotional betting and instead rely on structured scoring models, injury analysis, line movement, and sportsbook consensus to identify high-probability opportunities. By prioritizing long-term win rate over volume and allowing true PASS days when no edge exists, Zach's Picks is designed to deliver consistent, transparent, and explainable results.
What we do
Zach's Picks is an AI-powered sports picks service covering MLB, NBA, and NHL. Every pick is generated by our proprietary engine that evaluates pitcher matchups, line movement, market consensus, and pricing edge before publishing.
What makes us different from typical pick services:
Locked-in release pricing. Every pick shows the exact price you can get — not a theoretical "best available" that has already moved.
CLV tracking on every pick. We grade closing line value alongside win/loss, so you can verify our picks were beating the market regardless of game outcomes.
"No play today" days. Our engine refuses to publish picks when it doesn't find measurable edges. Forced picks are how most services lose subscriber money over time.
Public results history. Every pick we've ever released is visible on the results page with timestamps, prices, and grading.
How the engine works
The pick engine evaluates every game on the slate against a set of structured rules built around real betting concepts:
Line movement vs market consensus
Pricing edge vs market average at release time
Sport-specific archetype filters (e.g., NHL April rest risk, MLB juiced run lines, NBA playoff home-court adjustments)
Score thresholds that vary by sport, market, and context
The full rule set is documented in our engineering history. We won't publish the exact thresholds (sportsbooks read public sites too), but the methodology is principled and consistent — picks aren't selected by gut feel.
What we won't promise
We won't promise 65% win rates. The math of -110 betting doesn't allow that sustainably, and any service claiming otherwise is either cherry-picking or marketing fiction.
What we target instead: consistent positive CLV with a sustainable win rate above the break-even threshold. That's the honest measure of a winning betting system.
